Punters with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au are tipping South Sydney’s Adam Reynolds will continue his stunning NRL season after backing the halfback from $81 into $4.25 to score the most points this season.
Reynolds is the best backed player overall to tally the most points in 2012, attracting double to that of every other player in the NRL except Benji Marshall.
“He firmed into $21 after the first month of the season and that punter support has really intensified since May,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
“Benji Marshall is the only player, and only just, that has attracted more than half of what has been wagered on Reynolds.”
The Warriors’ James Maloney is the $4.00 favourite ahead of Reynolds with Jamie Lyon ($4.50), Jarrod Croker ($4.50) and Marshall ($9.00) rounding out the top five in betting.
