Hooker now finds himself on the second line of betting after being opened at $17, while favourite Renaud Lavillenie has eased from $1.83 out to $2.00.
“Prior to the heats, Hooker had attracted 88 percent of the money, most of which were small wagers,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
“However, since the heat he’s started to attract bigger bets at the same rate the smaller ones were coming in.”
