It has been a poor start to the A-League season for the Newcastle Jets who have failed to score a goal in their three matches this season. The are last on the ladder with two draws an a loss.
“It doesn’t get any easier this week when they travel to Gosford for the F3 Derby against reigning champions and title favourites Central Coast,” said TAB’s Glenn Munsie.
The good news is they welcome back their marquee striker, Emile Heskey, who missed the first three games due to injury.
“Heskey should add some much needed spark to their attack,” Munsie said.
TAB has opened a market on when the Jets will score their next goal – no goal scored is the $2.20 favourite.
